A Little Story about Mia Famiglia ~ Getting to know the Owners
We are a family owned and operated restaurant that originated from Long Island, New York. Joe Abbate is one of the owners and operators of the business and he has been in the Pizza making business for over 20 years. He started out making pizza in his family’s pizza shop at the age of 12. Making pizza has always been his passion and his dream was to one day have his own place which he now does, as of April 2012. His partner Dennis Muia (brother-in-law) still lives in New York for now while he works at Freedom Towers rebuilding the World Trade Center. Day in and day out he is helping rebuild Americas spirits and keep the memory alive of all those lost during 9/11.
